Alki Beach-Anchor Point: Seattle, Washington

Skim Spot Description: Alki Beach-Anchor Point is a really fun tidal beach in West Seattle.  The beach has shoreline skimming and great tide pools.  Really soft sand makes this beach really forgiving.  It's got a few shells here and there so be on the lookout for that.  Feature friendly so feel free to bring a box or rail.  Make sure to hit this beach an hour before tide and make sure its below 0.0.  The tide window here can be short so don't be late!

When to Ride: Spring / Summer. Tidal, ride below 0.0.  http://www.dairiki.org/tides/daily.php/sea

How to get there: Park on the side of the road.  Walk to the stair case next to the pier.  Skim spot is not visible at high tide but at low tide there are some rad tide pools to the left of the pier.
