Skim Spot Description: Spanish Banks in the largest in the Vancouver area. With huge tidepools numbering in the hundreds this is a skimboarders paradise. The lower the tide the better for skim, this beach does not work at hight tide. The sand is fine and has a clay like composition which is very forgiving when you fall and great for long rides. This beach is feature friendly but does not have any public features except for logs and driftwood so bring a box or rail!
When to Ride: Spring / Summer. Low Tide.
