Chambers Creek: University Place, Washington

Skim Spot Description: Chambers Creek is an inland fresh water stream.  Usually has features left by local skimmers.  Varying water depths and slick sandbanks makes this a great spot for any kind of riding.  Can be skimmed at any time of day and any season but water levels are best in spring / summer.  Park in the gravel lot at the bottom of the hill.  Trail head is across the street but the sign is hard to see.  Take the main trail for about 5 minutes and stay low ( don't go up the steep hill when the trail splits).  You have to wade across the stream to get the skim spot so wear sandals!

When to Ride: Spring / Summer. Non Tidal.

How to get there: Park in the gravel lot across from the trail head.  Take the trail for about 10 minutes.  Stay low when the trail splits, you should cross two wood bridges.  After the second bridge the trails splits.  Take the left split and walk down to the edge of the water, cross the stream and you are there!
