Skim Spot Description: You can basically ride this spot year round because when the tide goes out, it stays out for hours. http://www.visitparksvillequalicumbeach.com/cms.asp?wpID=267  (Link for the tide schedual)  This spot is my favourite in the area because its got nice sand, (not freakin soft, and not solid ground.) When the tide goes out it leaves some nice tidepools that are really fun to sesh. Bringing out some boxes and ramps makes for hours of good times. Another sweet feature about this beach is that not too many people know about so the tourists tend to stay away, this way its not crowded and you're waiting for people to move...This spot is also only a 5 minute walk to town and is really easy to get to.
